Multimedia App for the British Council

I've been commissioned to make an app by the British Council. The app allows the user to explore geometric patterns whilst a soundtrack is dynamically created to accompany the experience.
There are no instructions provided within the app; it is intended to be a tangible immersive experience akin to a kinetic sculpture, rather than a design tool or an instrument.
At the moment, the app is still at the prototype stage, I hope to complete the app by the end of the year! Watch this space for further updates.

Sharjah Spectrum

Some screenshots from my new animation,"Sharjah Spectrum".

It will be tiled and installed across 3 walls at the Sharjah Art Museum from Wednesday next week(16/12/2015).

The piece has had music composed especially for it and participants can choose the colours in the gallery with their mobile phones. The colour choices are updated via WIFI every 20 seconds.

When there are no choices being made, the computer code makes a random colour choice. The animation loops infinitely, the way it has been designed, it is very unlikely that the same colour and time sequence will ever repeat.

With thanks to Cris Thompson, Aftab Hussain and Valerie Grove. (This exhibit forms part of the bigger Islamic Art Festival from 16th Dec15 - 16th Jan 16)

Islamic Arts Festival at the Sharjah Art Museum in the UAEI will be exhibiting at the Islamic Arts Festival at the Sharjah Art Museum in the UAE from the 16th December 2015 to 16th January 2016. I will be showing paintings, wall based sculpture and a new fully interactive animation.
